We have introduced automated suggested ordering. This will work alongside suggested ordering (predicative order wizard).

Please note that Predictive order wizard has been renamed to Suggested ordering.

Orders can automatically be created and sent if the supplier is configured to have automated suggested ordering.

The order is created and sent if an order has not been sent for a given delivery slot.

I.e. If you have a delivery schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a cut off time of 3pm, 2 days prior to the delivery date. If at least one order has been placed for Monday and Wednesday but not Friday, the system will automatically generate an order for a delivery for Friday at 3pm at the point of the order cut off.

The logic that is currently within Predictive order wizard will remain the same. We will base the order on the previous week’s sales if the sales have not been forecasted.

Forecasted sales can be entered in Managers stock – Settings – Sales.

Once the order has been sent it will be displayed within the orders list.

The order sent by field will be displayed as Auto Generated. This will indicate to the user that the order was generated by the system and not by an end user.

 

Configuration

A delivery schedule must be set for the supplier.

There are two new flags that have been added to the supplier details page.

Within Stock admin, select suppliers and chose the supplier which you would like to configure to receive the automated orders.

 

Setting Flags and their meanings:

Automated orders – this setting will dictate if an order needs to be sent automatically if an order has not been sent for a delivery slot within the delivery schedule.

Copy of automated order to site – this setting will dictate if a copy of the order is to be sent to the site via email.

Development Kitchen Price Change Template:

You will now be able to update the invoice price of a development kitchen sales item via a csv import. This will allow you to update the prices in bulk and you will no longer need to update sales

item prices one by one.

• Within Stock admin select Importer

• Select Development Kitchen

• Select your enterprise and export file.

Open the csv file and enter your new prices.

Once reviewed and you are happy with the new prices you can now select and import the template.

The file will be validated and display the items where we have recognised a change in the price.

If you wish to set a date and time for the prices to be updated, select Import later and select your date and time you wish for the import to happen.

If you wish for these prices to take affect now select the import icon.

The history tab will display what was uploaded, when and by whom. If you wish to see what was imported select the + icon, this will expand into detail.

Once imported you will then notice that the prices of the items you sell to sites have updated.

Development Kitchen Sales Item Linking Page

The development kitchen linking page has been re-written to improve design and responsiveness.

We have added filtering drop down list so you can minimise your list by selecting a department, category group and category of the sales item.

If you wish to edit the department or category of the sales item, you can select the row which will take you to the sales item page where it can be edited.

The header row now freezes when scrolling.
